WORK EXPERIENCE
Huawei Device Co., Ltd., Dongguan, China
Senior Engineer, Application Ecosystem Governance & Research Collaboration
2024.03 – Present
- Application Ecosystem Governance (UX, performance, stability, compatibility, etc.)
- Designed and deployed deep reinforcement learning–based stability testing and record–replay automation for HarmonyOS apps, enabling large-scale scenario exploration and regression-free verification during development.
- Built governance workflows covering UX, performance, stability, compatibility, and privacy–security, significantly reducing post-release rework for third-party developers.
- Delivered a unified testing pipeline integrated into DevEco Studio, supporting early detection of functional and non-functional defects.
- Collaborated with framework, DevEco Studio, and device teams to ensure long-term maintainability and alignment with HarmonyOS evolution.
- University Collaboration & Joint Research Programs
- Served as a Huawei-side technical leader for multiple academic collaborations, including joint programs with East China Normal University (ECNU) on automated testing and property-based verification.
- Defined research roadmaps, coordinated funding, and ensured alignment between industrial requirements and academic innovation.
- Facilitated technology transfer from research prototypes to production-ready components integrated into HarmonyOS developer toolchains.
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Huawei–ECNU Joint Tech Program: “Property-Based Testing for HarmonyOS Apps”
Project Leader (Huawei-side)
2025.07 – Present | RMB 1.8M Horizontal Fund
- Led a 12-member cross-organizational team (Huawei & ECNU) to deliver the first property-based testing framework integrated into DevEco Studio, the official IDE for HarmonyOS.
- Defined technical roadmap, budget plan, and four key milestones; introduced weekly agile reviews to align industrial requirements with academic innovations.
- Built an automated script-distribution engine and a DSL for functional-sequence definition, enabling one-click rollout and on-the-fly updates of scenario-based tests; improved page-crawling efficiency and relevance by 30% using inline assertions to detect functional faults.
- Code accepted into DevEco Studio 6.1, now used by 9k+ third-party HarmonyOS developers.
- Outcome triggered a follow-up Phase-II contract on automated UTG generation for distributed HarmonyOS applications.
